About Asabya Academy

Asabya Academy helps schools across the Gulf prepare for their national school evaluation, in full in Arabic and English. It grew out of a practical problem: a school's self-evaluation is usually assembled in the weeks before a review, from evidence scattered across drives, binders and email, and it is out of date again soon after. Asabya keeps it current all year, so a review confirms what the school already knows about itself.

It is built for the frameworks each country uses: OAQA in Oman, the MOE, KHDA, ADEK and SPEA authorities in the UAE under the Unified Inspection Framework, ETEC in Saudi Arabia, and QNSA in Qatar, and is launching first with private schools in Oman.

Self-evaluation. Schools rate every standard and indicator on their framework's own scale, and every judgement shows the indicators, the rule and the evidence behind it, so it can be explained and defended. Readiness is tracked as the year goes, with the gaps and next actions in view.

Evidence and data. Evidence is attached to the indicators it supports, against the checklist of what each indicator expects, with coverage visible at a glance. Attainment, attendance and survey results can be imported, and lesson observations, staff appraisals and improvement plans are recorded in the same place.

Documents and review. The self-evaluation document (the SED, SEF or self-study report, depending on the country) is generated from what is already in the platform, with the evidence references inside, in Arabic and English. An external reviewer can be given time-limited, read-only access to the evidence and reports.

Built-in AI that does the heavy lifting. A bilingual assistant answers framework questions from the official guidance and shows the exact source, so every answer can be checked. It helps draft self-evaluation narratives and suggests which evidence supports which indicator, and it translates between Arabic and English on request. It is there to remove repetitive work, not to replace professional judgement: the judgements stay the school's own.

Security and data protection. All platform data is hosted in the European Union on independently audited infrastructure. It is encrypted, kept separate for each school, and backed up independently, and our handling of personal data follows the data protection law of each country the platform is built for.
